Developed a state-of-the-art web-based exchange to better manage and control online global equities trading.

The Client

Jiway is a revolutionary new Exchange concept that focuses on giving retail investors greater access to the European and U.S. stock markets. Its vision is to become the largest and most efficient execution point for small orders in Europe, and it adheres to the belief that opening up the retail market to the global horizons of trading equities outside national boundaries can only serve to improve the liquidity of these markets generally.

The Challenge

As an innovative online financial service, Jiway required a technically cutting-edge method to control and coordinate its worldwide operations and vision. Essential to the Company's successful launch was its ability to uniquely project-manage the Internet, intranet and extranet. Critical components included:

• The establishment of an Internet, intranet and extranet partner management framework to support the primary business
• The creation of management partnerships for 'end-to-end' solutions for business web presence
• The creation and management of content and online operational process

Other key challenges included:

• The client's product was to be very original and different from that of its competitors
• Content control had to meet the Exchange regulations
• Everything that was to be published had to follow a strictly controlled process of checking by regulators and lawyers

The Pcubed Solution

Pcubed assumed the role of an 'end-to-end' solution company coordinating and managing third-party relationships between the client, business partners and the development agencies. They also established and managed processes for content delivery into a tightly regulated environment, as well as creating a shared web-based project working space. This was essential to Jiway's successful launch as the client was based in London but was working with two separate web development agencies in Stockholm and another business partner elsewhere in Sweden.
