Charity beyondblue Benefits From Pcubed Australia's Cell Phone Donation Program

Monday, June 23, 2014
3 million Australians are living with depression or anxiety. beyondblue is working to reduce the impact of depression and anxiety in the community by raising awareness and understanding, empowering people to seek help, and supporting recovery, management and resilience.

When Pcubed recently upgraded our Australian employee cell phones, employees were given the option to purchase their old phones with all proceeds going to a charity chosen by employees.  Pcubed is pleased to announce that the winner of this financial donation was beyondblue organization.

Most Australians have had some experience with anxiety, depression or a related condition, whether they've experienced it themselves or had family, friends or work colleagues go through it. beyondblue’s work is aimed at achieving an Australian community that understands depression and anxiety, empowering all Australians, at any life-stage, to seek help.

beyondblue takes a public health approach, which focuses on improving the health of the whole population, across the whole lifespan. They tailor approaches when working with specific population groups, and they work in a range of settings – including educational settings, workplaces, health services and online – in order to be accessible to as many people as possible.
